The base is only part of an anime statue's footprint. A sword, wing, tail or effect can extend beyond it, so the space you need is the complete assembled outline viewed from above. Measure that outline before deciding a shelf is large enough.
Start with usable space
Measure the shelf surface between any supports, not the outside width of the furniture. Note its depth and the distance to the shelf above. In a cabinet, account for hinges, the closing door and any lighting equipment. Keep the figure fully supported on the surface; do not solve a shallow-shelf problem by letting the base hang over the edge.
Weight is a separate constraint. Check the furniture manufacturer's load guidance and the product's actual weight where available. A physically small statue is not automatically light, and several pieces share the shelf's total allowance.
Make a paper footprint
Once the product's maximum width and depth are confirmed, cut a paper rectangle to those measurements. For an irregular piece, this rectangle is a conservative planning aid, not a map of the actual base. Mark the character's intended front and any protruding accessory.
Place the paper on your shelf and test the viewing angle. Rotate it to see how turning the statue changes the space it occupies. Leave room to lift the piece safely and reach the surface for cleaning. The correct clearance depends on the model; there is no universal gap that makes every design safe.
Try a two-piece example
Suppose two confirmed footprints are 18 cm and 22 cm wide. Side by side, they already occupy 40 cm before any space between them. A 40 cm shelf therefore gives no spare room, and overhangs or a slight rotation may make the layout impossible. Do the same calculation for depth rather than checking only the front edge.
This example is a planning exercise, not a specification for products in our store. Use the dimensions of the exact versions you are considering.
Ask a precise question when dimensions are missing
“Will this fit on my shelf?” can be difficult to answer. Ask instead for the maximum assembled width and depth, including the base and all accessories. Mention a door opening or low shelf if it creates an additional restriction.
For a finished layout, start with the largest footprint and fit the remaining pieces around it. Compare options in the statue collection at Super Saiyan Sphere, then verify the individual listing before buying.
